Overview
Master in Manufacturing Management is a program to enhance student’s capability through industry collaboration, problem based learning, collaborative learning and experience sharing sessions.
The program is designed primarily for graduates who would like to pursue their career in management particularly in manufacturing field. Hence, the program aims to provide the advanced knowledge and capability in dealing with complex management challenges in modern manufacturing industries.
Entry Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6,MQF) in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 as accepted by the HEP Senate; OR
- A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6,MQF) in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting CGPA of 2.50 can be accepted, subject to a rigorous internal assessment; OR
- A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6,MQF) in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 as accepted by the HEP Senate and with relevant working experience, subject to a rigorous internal assessment; OR
- A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6,MQF) in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 as accepted by the HEP Senate and without relevant working experience, subject to passing pre-requisite courses; OR
- Other equivalent/related qualifications to a bachelor’s degree (Level , MQF) recognised by the Malaysian Government
- International Students are required to achieve a minimum score of 6.0 for IELTS or TOEFL PBT 550 or its equivalent.
Program Learning Outcomes
Demonstrate an understanding of how communication shapes patterns of social interaction, the expression of cultural values and norms, political practices and relations of power, and our positions as local and global citizens.
Be able to use a variety of methodological tools to analyze interpersonal, intercultural, and rhetorical discourse that structures everyday interactions in both our public and private lives.
Demonstrate an understanding of the possibilities, problems, and history of discourse and deliberation in democracy and will be prepared to use their knowledge to work for a just and more humane world.
