Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Technology (Machine Manufacturing) with Honours

Overview

This bachelor programme prepares students with the knowledge in Machine Tools and Manufacturing. This field of study encompasses mainly mechanical, manufacturing and metrology. Students are prepared to perform duty as production engineer especially when dealing with machine tools.

Entry Requirements

  • Passed Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) or equivalent with a minimum of at least Grade C (CGPA 2.0) in Mathematics and ONE (1) relevant Science subject;

        OR

  • Pass Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with at least Jayyid Level and pass SPM or equivalent with minimum grade C in Mathematics and ONE (1) relevant Physical Science subjects;

           OR

  • Passed Diploma in Engineering / Engineering Technology (Level 4,KKM) in related field from a recognized PPT by the Malaysian Government with minimum CGPA 2.50;

           OR

  • Passed Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM)/Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM)/Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) with a minimum CGPA 2.50 subject to the approval of Senate/Academic Board of relevant institution;

          OR

  • Passed Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM)/Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM)/Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) with a minimum CGPA 2.00 and have at least two (2) years of works experience in the related field;

          OR

  • Pass in Foundation in Science and Technology / Science / Matriculation / Preparatory Program in Science from recognized PPT by the Malaysian Government with minimum CGPA 2.0 including Mathematics and ONE (1) relevant Science subjects;

          OR

  • Pass in International Baccalaureate (IB) with at least 24 points including Mathematics and ONE (1) Science subject;

          OR

  • Passed Higher National Diploma (HND), UK (Level 4, KKM) in related field from recognized PPT by the Malaysian Government with a minimum CGPA of 2.00

          and

  • Other qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government Possessed a Malaysian University English Test (MUET) at least of band2;   

        OR

         at least minimum IELTS band 4.0;

          OR

  • have minimum scores for TOEFL at least 450 (PBT) or 135 (CBT) or 40 (IBT)

Program Learning Outcomes

Be able to use a variety of methodological tools to analyze interpersonal, intercultural, and rhetorical discourse that structures everyday interactions in both our public and private lives.

Demonstrate an understanding of the possibilities, problems, and history of discourse and deliberation in democracy and will be prepared to use their knowledge to work for a just and more humane world.
